The traditional one. White jade has been the standard gua sha material for centuries and it is still the stone most practitioners reach for. Creamy off-white with faint grey veining, a soft waxy finish, and the most forgiving glide of anything in this collection. If you want the version closest to how this is actually done, start here.
Best for: the traditional practice, and the smoothest glide.
The three-minute ritual
- Prep. Clean skin, then a few drops of facial oil or a slippery serum. The stone should glide — if it drags, you need more oil, not more pressure.
- Sweep. Hold it almost flat against your skin. Work outward from the centre of the face: jaw to ear, cheek to temple, brow to hairline. Three slow passes each side.
- Finish. Light strokes down the side of the neck toward the collarbone. Rinse, pat dry, done.

Care
Rinse in warm water with a mild soap after each use and dry with a soft cloth. Chill it in the fridge if you like the cold. Natural stone, so expect small variations in colour and veining — yours will not look exactly like the photo, and that is rather the point.
