Stainless steel and titanium are non-porous, so nothing soaks in — the sensible pick if your skin breaks out. Obsidian holds cold longer than anything else here. Jade warms to the skin and gives the traditional waxy glide. Blue aventurine is the heaviest, so it does more of the work for you. Tiger's eye is the one people notice on a shelf.
